Worldwide there are several Walkervilles - two in Australia, two in the United States, two in the United Kingdom,
one in Canada and even in a children's story book where Walkerville is the home of the Magic School Bus.

This site is dedicated to the district in South Africa and the people, the places and the events that contribute towards making our Walkerville the unique area it is.

Our aim is to promote the image of Walkerville and to give everyone, wherever they may be, an insight into what makes Walkerville in SA tick. In addition, it is hoped that it will become a reference for anyone wanting information on what is available in the area.

The communities of Walkerville, Walkerville Manor, Walkers Fruit Farms, Homestead Apple Orchards, Golfview, Blignautsrus, Hartzenbergfontein, Drumblade and Blue Saddle Ranches. With De Deur to the South and Eikenhof to the north comprise the greater Walkerville Area. Situated in Gauteng, the smallest most densely populated province in South Africa.

Walkerville is approximately 35kms south of Johannesburg and can be reached by both the "Old Vereeniging Highway" (via Mondeor, Kibler Park and Eikenhof) or from the R59, taking the Walkerville turnoff just after passing Kliprivier. Walkerville offers the peace and tranquility of rural living yet is a short drive from the hustle and bustle of the major conurbation that is Johannesburg.

GPS Co-ordinates 26°25’0.11”S and 27°57’25.74E will bring you to the four way stop in the heart of Walkerville, from there just ask for directions.
